4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share personal information only as needed with service providerswho help us operate, under their terms, limited to providing those services:
- Hosting: Hostinger (site files and server logs)
- Scheduling: Cal.com (bookings, including the calendar embedded on this site)
- Form delivery: FormSubmit (contact and checklist forms email our lead inbox; public contact address is jmoreno@morenofinancialservices.com)
- Email: our email provider for correspondence

- Transactional messages (scheduling, document requests, filing updates) are not marketing and may still be sent when needed to serve you.
- Our postal contact for commercial email is the locality listed in section 1.
6. Cookies, analytics, and trackers
Current inventory (as of the date above):
- Essential / functional: cookies or storage that may be set by the host so the site works securely.
- Booking calendar: our booking page and the Book buttons load a calendar from Cal.com inside this site. When it loads, Cal.com may set its own cookies on the cal.com domain and collect what you enter to book (name, email, time zone, notes) plus technical data such as IP address and browser type, under Cal.com's privacy policy. The calendar loads only when you open the booking page or select a Book button. If you would rather not load it, call or text (254) 312-0404 to book instead.
- Form provider: FormSubmit may process form submissions and related technical data when you submit contact or checklist forms.
- Help panel: the question helper on this site runs entirely in your browser. It answers from a fixed list of prepared answers. What you type is matched on your own device and is not sent to us, not stored, and not used for anything else. It sets no cookie.
- Analytics / advertising: we do not currently run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party ad trackers on this site. If that changes, this section will be updated and a cookie notice added where required.
You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may break booking or forms.
7. Retention
Inquiry and marketing records are kept as long as reasonably needed to respond, prevent abuse, and run the business. Client tax and bookkeeping records are retained for the periods required by law and professional standards (often multiple years after the engagement year), then securely disposed of when no longer required. You may request deletion of contact data we hold outside mandatory tax-record retention.
8. Security
We use HTTPS on the website and reasonable safeguards appropriate to a tax and bookkeeping practice. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Do not send SSNs, full tax returns, bank account numbers, or ID images through public website forms. After you engage us, we will tell you the approved secure channel for client documents. Tax professionals may also be subject to the FTC Safeguards Rule and should maintain a written information security program (WISP) for client data. This website policy does not replace that program.
9. Children (COPPA)
This website and our services are directed to adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 submitted data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request to:
- Access or correct personal information we hold about you
- Delete personal information, subject to legal retention needs for tax records
- Opt out of marketing emails
- Ask us not to sell or use data for targeted advertising (we do neither)
Contact jmoreno@morenofinancialservices.com or (254) 312-0404. We will respond within a reasonable time. If applicable law gives you a right to appeal a decision on a privacy request, reply to our decision with the word “Appeal” and the reason you disagree. We will review it separately and explain the result.
11. Third-party sites
Links to Cal.com, BBB, social profiles, FormSubmit, and other sites are not under our control. Their privacy practices apply when you leave morenofinancialservices.com.
12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change. Continued use of the site after updates means you acknowledge the revised policy for future visits.
